***COLUMBANUS COMMUNITY FOLK FESTIVAL***
The Columbanus Community Folk Festival is an annual event held in Bangor every June, hosted by Ards CCÉ and supported by Ards and North Down Borough Council. At the Festival visitors can expect to see a varied programme of cross community events at various times of the day/evening for all age groups and cultural backgrounds consisting of literary events, local historical heritage, Boat Tours, Workshops and world class concerts/music sessions in all genres of music featuring headline musicians, vocalists and dancers, both locally and internationally acclaimed.

Ards Comhaltas, established 1st July 1976, is a non-profit charity music organisation formed to promote and foster the love of Irish traditional music, song and dance to people from all backgrounds in Belfast, North Down / Ards areas and further a field.
